My daughter loves art projects and crafts; the messier the better. The artist in me wants to embrace her pursuits, but the pragmatic housekeeper in me sometimes panics about our project materials landing on the floor beneath our dining table (which is unfortunately carpeted). When weather allows, we like to take our projects out to the fresh air of our backyard.
I love the way she creates with abandon. She is uninhibited. Her vibrant spirit and colorful personality can hardly be contained in her two-year-old's body.
